I have always kept at least 6 good male friends on the side at any given time.
+1 yProbably not. I highly believe friendship is developed on common interests, shared experiences, and shared values.
What do I see most though when a female is trying to tell me that guy is just a friend? ... do I really need to say it? I will just in case... the 'her' side uses the 'him' side for attention and as an emotional tampon... perhaps for favors. And the 'him' side is obviously just complying because he thinks that will get him closer to being between her legs.
To make it worse, I highly believe the 'her' side is fully aware that the 'him' side is being so compliant and readily available because of that. Basically the denial of what it really is doesn't fool me.
So back to my first little segment... they share no common interests or hobbies, the shared experiences are null at best, and the values shared are arguable. What would you think if you were me, a dude, and this guy orbits her and listens to her problems when he does none of that shit for his guy friends. Imagine being the guy and yeah the guys will admit that they just want to fuck her bad if they get the chance. Ask the girl about it though... straight denial about what it is.

Take it a step further. Imagine being a guy, that's agreed to be in an exclusive relationship to a chick. The only reason you were talking to other chicks is because you were either fucking or about to fuck. You gave it up to meet the terms of the agreement. So you've basically cut those ties in order to fulfill your end of that bargin.
... Then "your" chick keeps talking to dudes that obviously just want to fuck and even ex-bf's. You really blame him for having that WTF feeling going on?
Oh, and I've seen it play out long term as well... if that guys sticks around long enough... he either 1) Does something creepy enough to get her to push him away (the best outcome), 2) Gets her in a situation like really drunk and fucks her, 3) Actually gets her to fall for him, or 4) He resorts to sexual assault and/or rape.
Trust me... if you're a guy that actually wants a chick to be yours... you don't want to see this going on and then have her telling you "He's just a really nice guy" or "He's just a really good friend."
I said a whole lot there, but the short answer... I wouldn't waste my time. The guy is being a real tryhard if he puts up with that shit. When I was blue pilled I was one of those guys, I tried to deal with it. It ran it's course and of course she ended up cheating. They always do... it's just a matter of time.
... unless they get raped that is.

+1 yWhat do you mean 'on the side'? Either they are friends or not, the 'on the side' makes it sound like you have a hidden agenda. Of course I would date a woman with male friends, it's no different to any other woman. Either she is trustworthy or she isn't, having 'male friends' has absolutely no bearing on trustworthiness. If a man takes issue with it, he's too insecure to survive a serious relationship anyway. Unless of course you actually aren't trustworthy, in which case those men aren't the issue here.

+1 yI once heard a good quote:
“A girl who is friends with mostly girls will be crying on another girls shoulder when she’s upset with her boyfriend. But if she has lots of “guy friends” she will be crying on someone’s D.”
Of all the women I’ve met over the years I find the ones with the most “guy friends” as the least trustworthy (if they are attractive). If she’s a true tomboy that’s one thing. But I both dislike and distrust attractive women with lots of guys around them for obvious reasons.

I agree! And LOL that “crying on another man’s dick” thing still sounds hilarious!
My answer: no
My question to you: why do you feel like you need to keep a set amount of "male friends" in your life at any given time? The way you worded it too🤨 instant red flags.
If it was one childhood guy friend who you've grown up with and he's like a brother to you, naturally I'm still gonna be keeping an eye on him, but I can understand that and I'm fine with it. But when you say you always keep at least 6 "good male friends" by your side at any given time... NAHHH!! It sounds like you've got a roster of side dick that you keep rotating around, 6 at a time.

+1 yTo me, it always comes down to the question of why. I don't have a problem with the concept of male friends, but I do have an issue with the reason those friends are there in the first place.
The unfortunate reality is that most of the women I've known who have lots of guy friends have been chaotic people, that being the reason they don't have more girlfriends. Other women don't want to deal with them. They aren't the kind of people I would want to have around as friends, so it begs the question of why other men would want them around.
It could be nothing, and I hope it's nothing, but if someone is a chaotic person, they aren't the kind of person I want to keep around.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yNo I wouldn’t. Because more than likely they’re trying to fuck her too. A majority of men don’t have female “friends” cause they’re friends. They have them because chances are they want to sleep w them. Especially the cute girls who have a lot of male “friends.” Now if I pick wisely I can trust her, but can I trust her friends not to try some bs? Probably not. Especially if we get into an argument and she goes to them to talk, to get advice. Chances are they’re going to tell her things to try to get her to breakup w me so they can weasel their way between her legs.

+1 yAbsolutely NOT. Why? I am not dating anyone who is farming up lots of male attention and validation. The probability of a drunken mistake would be astronomical.

Opinion Owner+1 yI'd be ok with it because she can talk to whoever she wants. Keyword: dating. She isn't your wife. If she wants only you, then she'll make that choice. Most women have male friends. At least this one is being upfront about it. I guess she wouldn't get upset then if I talk to my female friends. Win win.
Guys, would you want the woman you want to date have male friends or not?
