Something strange happened while I was getting food at a theme park?

So my friend and I were standing in line to get food and we were next to these group of guys. We were all kind of in disarray, I happened to be standing right next to one of the guys. Everything was really noisy and I didn’t really know what the guys were talking about since I was just talking to my friend trying to decide what to get. Since I was standing right next to this guy, I didn’t really see his face when he suddenly was like, “I wanna ride” and his two friends immediately reacted like “you’re disgusting,” and “you shouldn’t say that” and they kept on looking at me the whole time until they got their food and left. At that moment , I was kind of confused like what all that was about. But now I’m like, are those words what I think they mean?
