What could be wrong with it? By 16, she is fully blossomed. She posted bikini pics on Instagram to show off her new, womanly figure. If she looks good, anyone would be dishonest to deny it. There is no need to be wracked with guilt.

The guy is 18. That's only a two year age difference, so there is nothing pervy about it.

And it's not like he was fucking her. All he did was compliment her photos.

16 is the age of consent in some states. Besides, arbitrary laws don't reflect morality.
The age of consent is 14 in Austria, Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy and Portugal.

I had female classmates in 8th grade who were fully blossomed and really proud of themselves to have boyfriends in high school.

When I was 16.5 years old, my first girlfriend wasn't quite 15 yet. She was definitely mature. She had been in one, short-lived relationship before we met, so wasn't even a virgin. She taught me.

I don't know what protective prudes don't understand about post-pubscent women's libidos, desires, emotions, and fully developed bodies. And how could boys not be attracted?

18 year old guys are in a tough position. Nobody looks weird at a 20 year old guy dating a 18 year old girl, but back it up 2 years and everybody gets nervous. Add to that almost all women prefer men at least a little older than them. These things said, 16 is young for a girl to be with an adult, even if he's only 2 years older. As a guy, being 18 sucks. So is it weird, not really. Is it a good idea, not really.

No it is not weird. It may not be GOOD but it is v. normal.

A 2y age diff is nothing when you are, say 24 and 26, but a 16yo girl may have felt like a little kid six months ago or a year ago and now she may have this sexy body and the world is treating her differently, like one day you see adult men and you think of them as somebody’s dad and the next day you see adult men and they are checking you out it is WEIRD at first, plus she also has hormones going on and she might not really know how to deal w it. It can lead to a lot of emotions and mistakes.

Guys also might say things that they think are just banter but it has a big effect on her, for example when I was that age, a guy two or three years older than me who I knew from a part time job (I was an elf wrapping Christmas presents in a mall he worked in a nearby kiosk) made a vivid comment about what he wanted to do to me sexually and it stuck in my head, I kept imagining it in a negative way and had trouble sleeping, but I think he was just talking, but I had never dealt w that before. So I would just say, try to be aware of how she is reacting or might react. JMO!

No, it's only a 2 year age difference, but at that age and maturity 2 years is a lot.
He would at least in our state be considered an adult, you would be considered a minor which can lead to trouble.
Then is he being sincere or is just after something else.
