Why would my boyfriend of many years delete a message from an old female friend on messenger? He said he didn't want me to make a big deal out if it. Hhmmm.

And his efforts were obviously unsuccessful because now you are making a big deal out of it. So his concerns were well founded and that may be exactly why he did it. Do you have any concrete, specific reason to not trust him?

Not exactly only that I found dating sites on his history a couple times. I get notifications because his Google is in my phone and when I Got a notification of the ratings I looked at his history. Back or anything like that but today I was looking at our business page on Facebook and seen a girl that popped up that messaging him back and so I knew he had deleted it. I think being sneaking and hiding things like that is a form of cheating also. Not too far from it. He has had other messages from girls and I've never said anything so I don't see why he deleted this one. I appreciate you replying. I guess I'll just have to wait and see how it goes. I'm going to trust him though because if I don't nothing good will come from that. I still cannot help but be hurt. I don't hide my messages from him.

i agree. If your partner is doing something that they hide from you, it is a violation of your trust, regardless of whether their actions "technically" constitute cheating.

Well, if he deleted it because he thinks you will make a big deal out of it then there is a chance that he is hiding something.

Yeah I think so too. I do admit I would have asked who she was but then seen it was a totally friendly conversation and would have been happy. He didn't give me that chance. I don't know I don't like it I don't do this to him. I feel like it's a form of cheating or almost close enough. Thank you for replying
