Anonymous(30-35)+1 yFalse rape accusations are far more common than most people realize, because feminists have successfully pushed the notion that when an accusation is made and the perpetrator isn't prosecuted, it means a man got away with rape. But in many cases what it really means is a woman got away with a false accusation. The reality is that when charges are dropped due to lack of evidence, the reason there isn't enough evidence to charge the man is because there was never a rape in the first place.
Why do some women falsely accuse a man of rape? There are a lot of possible reasons, and one of them is hatred for men. Take for example Catherine Comins, assistant dean of student life at Vassar, who said "... men who are unjustly accused can sometimes gain from the experience. They have a lot of pain, but it is not a pain that I would necessarily have spared them." Comins is a classic feminist cunt who spreads her hatred of men to other women.

False accusation stats also don't take into account how many women will just throw around rumors to trash someone's name, without ever formally pressing charges. The charges don't even have to reach the cops to destroy a man's reputation. I lost an entire friend group because of this shit from two vindictive women.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yI'm sure the reasons vary from case to case. I'm aware of two cases in my personal life. One was because of spite and jealousy. The accuser was a friend I grew up with and she falsely accused the father of a mutual friend who was dating her ex. She eventually admitted she had lied, but by then the damage was done. The victim was already divorced.
The other was a case of a girl from a very religious family who got pregnant, and then claimed it was rape to cover up the fact she had sex when she was 16. That one didn't last long.
I'm sure there are countless other possible reasons.

Nope.
I'm talking about women, not these 15 year olds girls, I'm talking about grown WOMEN.
and it's not rare in court. It's very very common.
I think you mean it's rare to get away with lying to the court about being raped.
Which is why I'm posting this question.

But regardless, thanks for answering
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yFor some of the same reasons some men rape women. Rape is a not a sexual crime, it is a crime of power and control over the victim. The same is true for many women who falsely accuse a man of rape. Others do it to cover up their bad behavior, or to relieve their guilt by convincing themselves the consensual sex they had was not their choice.
But in the end, rape and false accusations are very similar in terms of motives, and the damage they cause to the lives of their victims.

No. I chose my answer because if she lies and falsely accuses not only is that rare but she’s immature.
Soo many more are attacked and never tell anyone. Have you ever been a victim? - +1 y
So, in short, basically "yes", your answer says you didn't.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yProbably the same reason men don't like talking about a woman getting raped. It's an uncomfortable thing to think about.
20 Reply2.6K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Are you asking why some women lie about having been sexually assaulted? Or why some lie and say it happened but it didn’t? All the context is important for such a topic.

Alright, both then...
Why women lie about having been sexually assaulted?
And
Why do women lie and say it they been raped but it didn't happen?
You have an answer (s)? - +1 y
See? Still no answer after clarification.
Why comment when you yourself knew you weren't really going to answer? Hmmm.

Hi Taylor, please be patient with me. I have things to do when I get back home and I am just getting back onto here now.
Thank you for providing us the clarification, helps a lot with our answers! Anyway, for a woman to deny having been sexually assaulted when she has shows a lot of trauma and fear. Mainly, fear of not being believed in most cases. Usually it’s because their rapist is a “high caliber” man and someone people will never believe could do such a thing. We see victim blaming far too often unfortunately.
As for why women lie about it happening when it didn’t, there are tons of reasons here. This lie can be out of vengeance, fear, resentment, etc etc. Even so much as not wanting people to judge who she slept with so she’d rather lie and say it was against her will. There should definitely some sort of legislation or protection for those men who do have their lives destroyed by flat out lies. - +1 y

"Why women lie about having been sexually assaulted?"
"Why do women lie and say it they been raped but it didn't happen?"
And
"Why do women lie about being a victims of sexual assault/rape?" - MY ORIGINAL QUESTION
All of these are the SAME question. There was no clarification...
And you want "patience"... - +1 y
"Lying and saying NO you were not raped vs lying and saying YES you were are absolutely two different things, and you did not specify which scenario you were referring to." - 🤪
You are supposedly 32 years old and yet you don't understand a predicate in a sentence, let alone an question.
This is my actual question:
"Why do women [lie about being a victims of sexual assault/rape]"
In the brackets is the predicate. It means lying about being victims, implying they were not real victims.
If they were real victims and decided to lie about it and hide it, it would be:
"Why do women [lie about NOT being a victims of sexual assault/rape]"
How come everybody else here understood my question here except for you?
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yBecause they don't want to believe it happens. I know it happens because I've seen it and the damage it causes.
