Why do women not take sexual assault seriously?

I find it funny to say that when a woman is raped she either hides in her own shame and starts to blame her self. Or she says something only for the law to dismiss the charges because you only reported the crime 2nweeks later.

Yet when it comes to war thousands of women and girls get raped and there is not one thing you can do about it. Scream, cry, yell all you want but when you have a line of 30 Russian soldiers to have there way with you I am sure you will get use to it eventually.

Would it be easier to say to women that rape and sexual assault is just a part of life?

So I visited your profile because of another post. I'm really confused now, lol, are you saying we should report it or we should't report it, or (the later reporting is harder to prove a case because of less evidcene). Or are you saying if we're not complaining about it enough when it happens elsewhere, or that we should accept it and quit complaingI think that's where your going, help me out here. I really can't tell if you saying we should accept or complain about it more?

As registered nurse though I would like to add that's important for any sexual assault victim to get medical attention right away. Not only if one is considering pressing charges but also there is HIV exposure prevention if that is a concern and for women and girls the morning after pill.

Women have entire movements against sexual assaults, they even describe our society as a rape culture. Wtf are you talking about?
