Wherever there is a person who really does believe in the sentiment presented in the tweet, it certainly is deserving of criticism. Men falsely accused of rape definitely shouldn’t just shut up and take the charges. I can’t think of any particular names who actually thinks this way. Not saying there aren’t any, but I don’t know if any. I also think that if this fake tweet exists and is outraging tens of thousands people who believe it was a genuine sentiment, I wonder how many others like it also exist. We aren’t sure.
I actually had a co-worker whom just got off the boat and he was staying at a motel for the night and the police arrested Him because the police believed He watched the description of a man whom raped a woman in the general area. He was released a day or two later when the woman said He wasn't the man so that right there proves a MAN IS ALWAYS GUILTY OF RAPE in the eyes of the law until the woman says no which means if She lies HE is automatically guilty no matter what evidence is brought forth unless it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt to be untrue.
That’s different. They had the wrong guy in custody who matched the description believed by the police. That happens a lot with criminal investigations. He wasn’t charged by the woman given what you said. Nor was he wrongfully convicted.
I personally feel if a woman claims rape and if its latter found out to be untrue then She should serve the exact same prison sentence as a man and when She gets out She should be put on the pedo/rapist list just like a man would. Oh i agree, but the courts, and lots of women feel like it should be guilty until proven innocent.. Put simply a false accusation can follow you for the rest of your life, cost you jobs, family, home, and freedom.
There is a question of how much assertion is allowed (or necessary) to have sex with a woman.
