Why do some people automatically believe rape stories just because a woman says so?

I’m not saying all women lie but there is women out there who will lie or have lied about things like things before.

If you want to take something to court. There should be more evidence than he said/she said. People can lie. It’s not uncommon for humans to lie.

Because for a long time, women weren’t believed. When the ‘Me Too’ movement started, it was meant to shed light on that injustice. The problem is, society tends to overcorrect before it finds balance. When something’s been ignored for too long, emotion drives the reaction before reason catches up. The “believe all women” mindset was part of that swing — well-intentioned, but flawed. Over time, it always balances back toward fairness and due process. Unfortunately, it takes bad apples to expose the negative human traits people forget, People lie and can be vindictive.

Rape cases have a comparatively low conviction rate. Most rape victims never get their day in court. The fact its got as far as trial means several experienced police officers and legal experts are convinced there's a chance for justice.

If no other evidence, women are more likely to be lying than not. The women that are raped and not injured, seldom report the rape.

I'm not saying Rape and SA isn't or isn't STILL a problem. It is! But it made the type of woman that would use false accusations as a weapon in her arsenal that much more of a problem.

Of course, law enforcement never wants to admit that they went out and grabbed some guy probably beat the hell out of him and threw him in jail and entered charges against them only to have him be found not guilty. They are only going to publicize the ones that they've caught legitimately and that actually did it
