Things were going really good then he got a new job assignment and is being distant/short. Is this common for men?

I asked him if there was someone else the way he was acting so distant, and he said I was overthinking things. I want to trust him but my gut is going crazy that there is someone else. I am an anxious attachment so I can be wrong. lol He just got a new job assignment but the last time, he was communicating and this time he is just short.

There could be many reasons. he could be busy learning his new job or so. I don't know from your information what he's thinking.

Unfortunately, yes because as a man rises higher in a corporation, usually the less time he has for family and friends

he's military. so not really corporation. But he even started yawning on the phone saying he was tired and going to bed but he was up on his playstation (i can see cause we game together). Why lie? I mean i get needing time to yourself. he used to send like little messages through out the day and now im the one doing the initiating. it's really just the last month

A new job assignment is stressful, and he is probably much busier than before. He'll make room for you, just give him some time to settle into his new routine.

Probably too much stress from work and wants to rest his mind by not interacting with others as much. Gaming alone can sometimes reduce stress too, at least in my experience.
