I worked with him for a year, always got along really well and would talk during breaks or after work sometimes. He knew I was married by the way. I mentioned that the PT at my gym kept hitting on me and I didn't like it so he said I should switch to his gym. I said okay cool, and looked into it. It's actually closer to my house than the one I was going to and a lot more spacious so I switched and we would train together since I needed a spotter and it was nice to train with a friend. He'd normally text me if he was training earlier or if there was a change in the normal time. I ended up switching jobs, and he picked up another job as well so he said he would text me on certain days if he was training. Fast forward a few months training together and just enjoying each other's company, and all of a sudden he just doesn't respond to my texts (something about a new protein powder etc). He also stopped messaging me when he was training. I actually ran into him in the morning which was so awkward because he said he would let me know but he didn't. He came up to me and would help me, spot me, talk to me whatever. Then he asked "So... are you going to be coming in at this time everyday now?" but he didn't seem excited about that. No idea what's going on. I train with him and his friend on the weekend but something seems off. Just sucks because I have literally no other friends here (I moved to be with my husband) and it's nice to see a familiar face and train with someone (my husband hates the gym). I'm trying not to be clingy/desperate for friends. Clearly it's not working since I'm on here asking this now. I just kind of gave him some space when I see him and don't go up to him right away anymore, since I don't know how to interact with him now. I miss my brothers. I used to train with my siblings all the time, it's so lonely here...
