When you ask questions about his hobbies/activities in life, why do guys assume that we like them? when we actually just curious?

Example asking WH-questions in a platonically way, but they thought u are so into them. I really appreciate guys can answer this question honestly 🙌🏻. Cause I felt so insecure and ugly when they do that when u have no intention romantically

If you're chatting a guy up and taking a bulk of his precious time he will think that you like him. (Same goes for gals, by the way... this isn't gender specific.)

It's more about the WAY you are speaking when you ask... are you smiling and leaning into him, touching his arm, standing too close, blah... blah... blah? Then yeah, you're leading the poor schlub on and he doesn't know wtf to do with himself because he's probably thinking what he wants to do with you and praying that what he's saying to you is coherent...

If you're just asking in a matter-of-fact tone and keeping a proper distance, simply having a conversation, he should be fine. (And again... same goes for girls when guys are speaking with them.) Not every thing is a big drama.

Because if you want that guy to stick around, you best take interest in what he does on his free time. From my experiences with dating, that is a major make it or break it to a good majority of men.
