Why would he ask about another guy’s feelings to me, is it out of curiosity?

So while chatting with a colleague , he asked me about a guy friend ( who works at the same place we work at and sometimes I chat with him). So my colleague asked me so who were the guy you were talking to and I told him he is a friend of mine, and then asked me i think he likes you or have feelings for you and I told him no I consider him as my friend , so he told me I am not asking about your feelings, I feel like he likes you and I told him no. Why would he asks me that out of no where, my mind feels like he just curious cause we chatted before about a girl and who do you think likes her. But it was a really weird question to me, maybe cause I never thought anyone would ask.

Hmm that is kinda weird that your colleague asked you that out of nowhere. A few things it could be:

- He may have noticed your guy friend acting differently around you, and was curious if there was something there. Guys sometimes pick up on that stuff.

- It's possible your colleague has a little crush on you himself deep down and was feeling jealous. Wanted to know if you had a thing with the other dude.

- Might have just been making conversation and trying to generate some office gossip. Guys like stirring the pot sometimes too lol.

- Long shot, but I guess he could be interested in the other guy and was looking for signs he bats for that team if you catch my drift.

Hard to say for sure what his motives were. If you and your guy friend are just friends then I wouldn't read too much into it. But can't blame ya for finding it odd! Maybe keep an eye on your colleague now too just in case he's got feels for you.
