I made a silly mistake by eating food with garlic before meeting someone. Any tips on getting rid of the smell from my mouth and house?

At home open the windows in the morning to allow ventilation and also light some scented candles and let them burn for a few hours. It can take a few days to get rid of the garlic breath. Last time I had this terrible idea to chew an entire garlic clove it took me almost a week to get rid of the garlic breath but there are a few things you can do like brushing 2/3 times a day, floss at least once a day, gargle on some mouthwash and drink lots of water throughout the day. If you're going to be around other people take some mints and gum with you.

or.. use lemon or orange or even pine scent. Get a bowl and put some coffee grounds in it--soaks up bad odors.
