Guy's Behavior

When a guy is asking lot of personal questions? Does he likes me?

A guy started talking with me few weeks back... We both are studying in same college same department but different section. I don't know him. But after he started texting he told he observed me during college days. He told that " you look calm and I liked your calmness. so I texted me." I never know he observed me during college days and texted me after one year.
He said "when I first saw you I thought you were cute" and he says that he is curious about me. He is the always the one who starts the conversation with me.

But when I asked why were you curious about me he told like you look calm so I thought I could have conversation with you. But he never asked about my love life. But he used to ask a lot of personal questions like what you like... this or that. He once asked "will you go out with stranger to watch movie?" I told him I can go out with known person. Then he asked will you consider me as known person? I don't know whether he likes me. can any one tell me!
