Not sure I completely understand your phrasing of the question. I am guessing that you are asking how do you know if you are good looking and is it by the number of women that approach you. To that I say... maybe. Beauty or handsomeness is really subjective. The guys that are approached by a lot of girls but never the one that he has his eye on because she doesn't find him attractive doesn't really win now does he? It is all about finding someone that likes you as much about you liking them. So purely based on the number of girls that approach someone doesn't mean that his is good looking. Maybe he personality shines through and seems fun to be around for example. Some people just have the "it" factor and are like magnets and not because of looks alone.

Yeah I was always led to believe that you have to approach and I simply don’t because I just think that I would be rejected I feel I have a good personality

I, for myself likes to be stay groomed myself. Not just coz I wanna look good in front of women but it makes me feel good.
