Here's an interesting trivia question...

Of all the letters in the alphabet, there is one letter that is the most common last letter in the name of men in the United States, so common that it's the last letter in 25% of men's names.

What is that letter?

To make it fun, there are some options in the poll below, in alphabetical order... one of the choices is the correct answer.

I would have thought R since many names are based on an occupation, Miller, Baker, Thatcher, etc and it's a common English German ending. But R isn't on the list.

S often denotes "son of" in the UK so Williams is William's son so that could fit a large number.

But I think it's a trick question and we need to be thinking of names from other parts of the world, Irish ones often in in Y. Swedish in N Therefore I'm taking a gamble on K, just to be awkward.

I would think that many of them would come from other languages which are gender based...

so that makes me thinks of vowels, I see none here... so I will go with the Y, which could "soften" names and make them feminine (grammatically speaking lol, feminine)
