I told my crush how I felt but he didn't respond?

I texted my crush to see if he was interested in getting to know each other more. Apparently he forgot to save my contact from a previous interaction so the only response I got was about who I was, but after I told him he just liked the message and was silent.

But that's not where the story ends.

A few days before I texted him about my feelings, I followed him on his insta and he didn't follow me back. But on the day I told him how I felt, despite not giving me a yes, no, or maybe, he then followed me back of insta (note that this was immediately after I told him it was me)

So could this mean he has an interest?

Oooh girl, that is so confusing! We must analyze this situation:

The fact he followed you on Insta right after you confessed does seem promising. Why else do that at that exact moment? Boys don't usually do that for no reason.

As for the lack of words back, some possibilities:

- He could be shy/taken by surprise and not know what to say. Give him some time to process.

- Or maybe he likes the attention but isn't sure how he feels yet. Following shows interest at least!

I'd say, don't totally lose hope. Keep following/liking his stuff normally so he knows you're still thinking of him. Smile and wave if you see him too.

Then in a week or two, casually bring it up again - like "hey, just wanted to see if you thought any more about what I said?" See what he says this time with more time to respond.

Stay positive! I think there's a decent chance he might be into you too. Boys can be dumb - give him a little nudge to find out for sure! Fingers crossed, girl!

Well, you’re under age anyway, and nobody is serious as a teenager and you should not be dating because it’s risky. What happens if you get pregnant then your parents become the new mother and father and then you have to go to high school being pregnant and everybody will make fun of you

Crushes are usually a one-way street and more often that not, not reciprocated. What prevents you from talking with him on a face-to-face basis rather than to play this cat and mouse game with texting and social media?

If you want something in life, you have to fight for it and social media, texting, video calls or any other such superficial methods will not get you anywhere because none of them will allow you to observe the person's reactions, the tone of voice, the body posture or any other way that will tell you much more in real life than with electronic media.

He could be thinking that he wants to be nice to you but his behavior could just mean about anything. Talk to him in person and not through those social media.
