Guy I’m seeing always talks about other girls?

A guy that I’m seeing always talks about how pretty other girls are & he also talks about his past sexual experiences with other girls. It makes me uncomfortable. Would a guy do this to make you jealous or just not that into you?

I’d try to avoid him, he seems to be trying to brag in hopes that it’ll make you want to sleep with him, or that he’s trying to make you jealous and uncomfortable

Next time he wants to talk about some girl he banged a few years ago, let him talk, then respond, "Yeah. Remembering past times can be fun. There was one guy I dated that was hung like a horse and he was so incredible! I've never met anyone as good as him!" Then watch his reaction. And follow it up with, "I just made that up to see if it would bother you because that's how I feel when you talk about other girls."

It is either a way of asserting dominance over you, or an attempt to boost his own confidence. Either way, you should tell him to pack it in or you'll go find someone else, as it is disrespectful!

Personally I ASK to know up front what my guy has experienced in the past. in my opinion it’s healthy for a guy and girl to share this early on… It avoids this issue if a guy or girl making their partner jealous by the mere mention of an ex, which is utter nonsense in my opinion.

There's any number of possibilities, trying to brag, trying to bait you into sharing your previous experiences, hoping these stories will make you want to sleep with him etc. Tell him it makes you uncomfortable and see if he stops. If not, I'd avoid that one.

Maybe if you actually communicated your discomfort he wouldn’t do it anymore. Yes, I’d say it’s common sense for men not to do that with women they’re seeing but sometimes sense isn’t so common.
