I was talking to my boyfriend on the phone and it seemed he was having a tone of attitude so I asked him hey are you trying to give me attitude and he got pissed and said no and he said he was pissed that I would even assume that of him and was saying "you're wrong, I'm not giving you attitude" he often speaks w contempt and attitude in general so it is hard to break from this assumption but I wasn't trying to go back and forth w him and he did, he kept repeating "you didn't say you believe me that I wasn't giving you attitude" and kept saying how I am wrong and should have not assumed the worst of him when from my perspective it wasn't such a big deal I asked if he was being combative he said no and i took his word for it then he got super combative saying he was mad I would even ask that lol doesn't this sound childish and toxic of him?
