Guys, Any guys jobless and living with parents and why?

I dont work the typical 9to5 job. That is due to being hit by a dually truck that resulted in shoulder surgery and getting shafted by and inexperienced lawyer. I lost my job as a result of not being able to maintain the level of performance that was required for the position I held.. I rent a room at my Dads house. Not exactly living with my parents. After he retired couple years ago he started building his house on some property around the Payson area, so he more or less needed a house sitter. So I get reduced rate rent (I love in Phoenix and its one of the highest in the country) and he comes back for 2-3 days for building materials and change of scenery about every 6-7 weeks. Definitely more a roommate type vibe than father and son.
