1 ybefore even START about "which words" they consider insult...
most lady will interpret your inaction... you didn't DO anything, you didn't do ANYTHING, nor say anything but she interpreted as insult... "ghosting" trying to hurt them but...
you gave zero indication. you didn't do ANYTHING...
still that "was to hurt her, to make her feel bad, ghosting and passive agressive." sure you were passive but... that was passively aggressive!
until women STOP trying to be manipulative like that...
they *hav options to 1, stay lonely or 2 try lesbian that ends in higher rates of divorce. or stop interpreted that way!
and same for words... she should stop searching for hints of insults to accuse any hint of "mean man" talk.

@TommyMountainFigure Well, I sure wish someone had said something to me before I drove up a guy wire on a telephone pole!!
@Caroline91 :O Yeeesh.. were you or anyone in your car hurt?
- 1 y
@TommyMountainFigure No, it happened at a solid 5mph on my very first driving lesson when I was 15!!
@Caroline91 Awww What a thing to happen on a first driving lesson. Were you encouraged to get straight back into it, or did it put you off for a while?
- 1 y
@TommyMountainFigure I was with my Dad on the first lesson and wouldn't get in the driver's seat for awhile. Then, I almost didn't pass Drivers' Training class. But by 16 I was a good driver. And now, I''m actually a pretty gutsy driver. But moving to the Great Lakes region from the West Coast was a shock in winter time! lol
@Caroline91 Snow chains around the wheels n all that?
@Caroline91 My niece when she was 10 was VERY shaken up when she came off of her horse (luckily not hurt though). It was a car speeding past her and spooked the poor thing. It took all of us a fair time to get her to get back on, but she did after about 6 months. She's always very wary of idiots behind the wheel of course now though.

Oh, I get that. I had a getting thrown off a horse experience when I was 6. In that case, I was so pissed off at the horse that I did get back on immediately. But the car thing was totally different. My dad and I opend=ed the car doors which caused the car, at a 45° angle, to swing wildly on the wire and we had to jump down to the ground. lol. It was on the front page of the local part of the newspaper the next day and when I got to school, everywhere I looked, someone had cut out and put the picture up on a bulletin board. Pretty much every bulletin board in school was sporting it. And, that's actually the last time I remember being embarrassed!

Snow tires are a lot easier and more effective.
@Caroline91 Oh no.. you became the but of every joker in the school I bet too..
- 1 y
The weird thing was... nobody ever said a word about it. They just sneakily put copies of the article on the bulletin boards.

After I died a thousand deaths from embarrassment, it was so bad that nothing else has ever embarrassed me again... at least so far lol
@Caroline91 Careful lol.. There are enough people reading this who thrive on trying to cause embarrassment to others!

Oh, let 'em try! 🤪
@Caroline91 lmao..
1.8K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. We can start with the accusatory “you” or finger pointing when they could easily have made a small effort to keep things positive or flowing smoothly.
Everything else I can basically dust off as being silly … or just part of the overly-linear male logic … But the accusatory “you” tends to burn my biscuits.10 Reply

1 yI guess I'm pretty lucky because I rarely feel insulted by anything my guy says to me... he is just so very sweet and kind. And anything that might possibly be taken as insulting turns out to be pretty funny if I give him a chance to explain himself. Guys can be such doofuses sometimes... just give him a chance to explain and then you might both end up laughing like crazy. He actually taught me not to get offended right away and give him a chance. His patience is amazing.

1 yMy wife tends to take much of what I say as a complaint, and gets angry about it. Even though I explain to her, over and over, that I'm just making an observation.

1 yWe should not have to worry about whether we insult women or not. But i imagine making remarks about their appearance and their weight usually does it.

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yPretty much everything men say to women is insulting. Unless you’re handsome than you can get away w saying crazy things.

Oh, bud, that's a tough one, eh? I mean, us Canadians, we're known for being polite and all, always apologizing and offering maple syrup to our neighbors down south, but let's face it, when it comes to women, some men can be real hosers, eh? We got them handsome devils who can charm the birds outta the trees with their crazy talk, and then there's the rest of us, just trying to shoot the breeze and end up putting our foot in our mouths, sorry! I say, women, they got that sixth sense, like a hockey player sensing a check from behind, they can tell when a fella's about to say something daft, and then we're in the penalty box, eh? Might as well be playing shinny on the pond, cause we're out of the game, bud! So, fellas, my advice? Keep it simple, eh? Less chit-chat, more action, like a good ol' hockey game, you know? Women, they don't need our crazy talk, they want actions that speak louder than words, eh? And if ya can't do that, well, sorry, bud, better luck next time, grab a beer and head to the rink, cause you struck out!

Well I in particular don’t take offense to it, but imagine you work hard on adding a bit more glamour to something and then right as you finish, someone comes in and goes “eh, I liked it better before the work you put in.”
A better way to compliment a woman’s natural beauty would be to say something like, “I think you’re beautiful with or without makeup.”
