Could be a bunch of reasons. Here are a few: making conversation, curious to learn more about you, sexually interested and seeing if you're of legal age or close enough to his age, curious if you're close in age to a guy he wants to set you up with and some more for sure.
He’s my trainer. He asked me over text after wishing me a happy birthday. It was so random tho.
His friends all randomly added me on Facebook and they look at my stories…they’re 50 year old dudes.
After wishing someone happy bday, is the most appropriate time in the world to ask someone their age. Legitimately what I do for most people who say it's their bday, if I don't know their age. And if they aren't an older lady that would get offended.
