Why would I be such a distraction?

Long story short. My bosses said that I was distracting the girls up front from working by being around there. Not really talking just working. Having me kind of work in the back more.

Dang dude, that's weird that your bosses said you were being a distraction just by being there working. Unless you were actually flirting with the girls or something, I don't really see how your presence alone could be distracting them that much.

It almost seems like they're just looking for a reason to keep you out of sight or something. I dunno, the whole thing seems kind of sketchy to me. Like are the other guys up front "distracting" too? Doubt it.

If you weren't doing anything wrong, I wouldn't take it too personally. Some bosses just look for petty little power moves like that. As long as you're getting your work done, that's all that should matter.

Maybe keep an eye on how they treat the other employees too, see if they single you out for other stuff. Could be some underlying bias or something shady going on with them. Don't let it get you down man, keep doing you!

That doesn't matter. They are the bosses so do as they order. That is what you are paid to do. If you don't want to do your job as assigned, then quit.
