This is the first day i’ve ignored my ex, why is he reacting like this?

The other day he went off on me stating we are never going to be together again, so i decided it’s time to just move on and ignore him. He mentioned that we could be friends which i said sure.
He has texted me “Hello?” “Are you even alive” and has called me twice and facetimed me once today since i’ve ignored him. Wtf even is this?
