What are women's perspectives on seeing a man with a nice smile?

I hear various conflicting elements when it comes to what women like. Some women like serious men and some women love a nice smile on a man. So In all respect ladies if you looked at a wall of men faces what would you prefer a nice smile or a blank face with no emotion whatsoever.

The man I have a crush on has a cute smile, the kind that is bright, warm, with eyes that shine when he smiles, and a contagious smile that invites others to smile along with him. I've met a few men who have cute smiles, but not all of them can influence others to smile too because of their smiles. So I think I'd rather choose a man who has the type of sweet smile like the man I like over a man who is expressionless. But I can choose a man who is expressionless and rarely smiles, as long as he has abilities that make him look attractive.

A face of a person that smiles, regardless of the gender is much nicer to look at than a person with a neutral face that is expressionless. But...

I have also noticed that when a girl smiles, men tend to take it as if she is interested in them and that is where the problem lies. In most of the cases, it is not true yet men think that they have a chance to flirt with that woman.

That is the exact reason why I never smile in public. I had too many negative experiences of that kind where men thought that they could get something from me I was not willing to give.

It is unfortunately the sad truth. A smile can convey so many messages but some people tend to misinterpret that message for an invitation.
