Complimenting a guy?

So I noticed this guy looked really good. I told him I noticed he got a hair cut and it looks nice! He giggled a little and said he cut it to short. I said we'll it looks nice. He said thank you and smiled big.

Do you think I made him feel good or do guys not like hearing that.

Honestly he probably felt a little awkward. Not really sure what to say or do because men really don’t get compliments from women. A lot of women think we do, but we really don’t. So when you do you’re a little lost as far as what am I supposed to say, or do? How do I react. Most men would probably just say thank you but wouldn’t know much beyond that.

If he felt it was a GENUINE compliment and not just you angling towards something.

By the fact that he giggled suggest that he liked it. Unless it was a nervous laugh you know the type. Kind of like this.
