How do women embrace men’s feelings?

Growing up for the longest time, I never thought men had feelings. Hear me out you’re always taught that men are stoic and men are so detached and emotional these rocks
So when you have a father that has emotional intelligence, but also Very shielded. It’s kind of hard to read and understand how a man is or supposed to be when it comes to their feelings.

Even with funerals, he’s taught me that they’re no longer in that body so there’s no sense of grieving any longer. There’s one part.

When it comes to dating men, I know y’all say that you’re simple but it’s kinda hard

When dating a guy, he's anything but simple. At the initial phases he may be a little tongue tied when expressing himself and how you make him feel. In more advanced phases he may be awkward about opening up about his feelings. Personally, I believe in a more meditative, mindful approach to chatting and getting to know a guy and allowing him to know me. It's gradual and allows the guy to open up a little at a time till we know each other. The reward of sharing then reaps a multitude of benefits and satisfaction as the relationship thrives.

The sweetest couples I know share everything to one another. The woman is the man's sounding board for his major life challenges, concerns and decisions and vice versa. They're the ones who tend to stay together as well...

If you see (or feel) that a guy has put up a wall and left you on the other side of it, though you can TRY to make him let down his guard, if he doesn't budge about sharing with you he's probably being shady for a reason and in these cases he's really just not worth your time.

Or he has some deep wounds that he doesn't think he can share, and while this is not malicious it also can still be a real obstacle for a healthy relationship

The guy who’s just set on being miserable no matter what is a drain on a good person… Those guys need to learn to live themselves, perhaps get therapy as well. It’s not up to a woman to “fix” a man who hides behind his scars.

lol if only it was as simple as that post makes it look. Its not. First of all women have a hard time listening to men’s feelings. That is one of the biggest reasons men don’t talk. Part of it yes is how we were raised. Imagine if all men acted the way a majority of women do in a lot of emotional situations. But yes women don’t listen a majority of the time. They hear what they want to hear, their feelings are more important than his as far as how he made her feel. Here’s something for women. Want to learn more about us, inquire more when he says something you don’t understand even if you don’t like what he’s saying. You’d rather shame him, say he’s disgusting, etc, etc.

We have feelings & emotions, I’ve never wanted to hide / push away my emotions & feelings like some rigid men do… We need to be more open, kind, warm, and respectful no matter gender or race or religion or whatever we are all humans and we all feel damn it!

We guys are actually simple creatures. It's the way Mother Nature built us. You girls often try to overanalyze things, especially when it comes to guys. Take what we say and do at face value, don't try to read between the lines. Save that for your girl friends.

No, I am just learning what society has taught me about men. With my conversations now surrounding them and dating them. And learning that you don’t all fix one category. And that you can be strictly friends with some.

A lot of women have an unfortunate tendency to ask men things like "how was your day" and then talk over the guy and make the conversation about her.

One really big thing women can do to embrace men's feelings is to actually listen when men talk.

What you're saying is the equivalent of a man telling you. "Just don't be feminine". How well do you think you'd get along in this world doing that? Men have thier gender roles and so do women. And as many Trans people have found out, when you buck the system you will suffer some blowback.

But the fact that you didn't even realize men had feelings🙄. Kind of says a lot about women and what they don't know, or some don't care to know, as it pertains to men.
