I made friends with this Indian guy at my work, I believe he's around my age or a little older. I talk to most people at and I'm very popular amongst my colleagues so without seeming rude I didn't think my friendship with this guy at work was that strong to him as I talk to everyone not just him.
But he seemed to really appreciate me taking the time to talk to him as once he got promoted he came to thank me for being a good friend and supporting him.
He got promoted around the same time I was voted union rep. Unfortunately I had to rep a colleague of mine who had been in a fight with this other guy at work.
I had to watch the cctv of the fight and I had no idea the other guy in the cctv footage was him. He seems pretty innocent in witness statements and the cctv footage is hard to make out what happened but some people seem to really not like him at work for some reason so makes ne wonder if he's all that innocent and is using me to get information on the guy who apparently hit him in this fight and I have a lot of power and influence at my work.
Things started to get more odd when he saw my earrings he said "you always have such nice earrings, my family own a jewellery shop in India and I'll give you some earrings that my mother sends over in a package for my wife every month"
I said that was really kind of him and that I love Indian jewellery and culture as I grew up around it in my home town having a big Indian population but he didn't have to do that for me. He explained it was okay because his wife has loads of jewellery anyway and won't wear it all and he even asked his wife when he got home and told her all about me. She decided she'd even pick the jewellery out for me and sent him to work the next day for some Indian food for me try which was beautiful.
she's trying to start her own restaurant and that's why she wanted me try her food, we always face time his mum on lunch breaks and his wife told me I was very beautiful and looked like barbie
