He looked at me crazy when I interlocked my hands with his. But he thought it was just fine to grab my face and tongue kiss me and do all that other nonsense. Like just being able to hold hands is nice

Ugh, why are guys so dumb sometimes? Holding hands is sweet and intimate, way more meaningful than just making out.

Some guys are so focused on sex and physical stuff that they don't stop to appreciate the little romantic gestures. Holding hands is about connecting on an emotional level, not just physical.

Maybe try talking to him about it when things are calm. Explain how important simple acts of affection are to you in a relationship. A good guy will listen and make an effort if he cares.

Some dudes just don't get that girls want to feel cherished through simple touches too, not just hooking up. Hopefully he'll learn hand-holding is just as special as making out, if not more so. Don't settle - you deserve someone who respects what you want in a relationship.

If he's not willing to meet you halfway, then maybe he's not the one. But for now, don't be afraid to speak up about what you need from him to feel happy! Communication is key, especially early on.

So for example, just because you might be putting your hand around somebody to hold doesn't mean you want to go into making out most guys take that and deceive it as wanting more than just kissing
