It sounds like it would be a good idea to reflect on WHY you rejected him. For example, if you allowed yourself to believe that you could reject him and STILL keep him as an option, well, he's taught you something, hasn't he? No man with any self-respect would put up with that.

If you are serious about having a relationship, then you need to stop playing games, and you need to figure out if you REALLY want a relationship - because a relationship is going to require some effort and some sacrifices on your part.

You must first eliminate all men who aren't ALREADY "relationship men" - because it is impossible to convert a "casual sex man" into a "relationship man." And this is going to eliminate pretty much the entire top 10% of men - because those men don't commit - they already get all the women and they don't have to.

Then, you're going to have to BE the kind of woman a "relationship man" wants. Because no matter how bad you want a man, if you aren't what HE's looking for, you won't get him. At least, not for more than a night or two.

A relationship is a whole different game from a "casual" relationship, and just as the man has to work hard and prepare and have plenty to offer, so does the woman - and just being a woman isn't even close to being enough.

I don’t sleep around, me and him were “friends” for about 2-3 months, we met through a mutual friend and had coffee and went to Nando’s a few times and the movies and he ended up confessing feelings and I said it wasn’t a good time (family emergency that weekend) and we talked it out then he told me some personal things to him whilst still pursing me then he vanished. He blocked me when I reached out but I ran into him and he smiled at me and did ask our mutual friend how im doing so I guess he at least doesn’t hate me
