Guys, does it sound like he is hiding something?

So I’ve been in a long distance thing with a guy for about a month now. Everything was going fine we would talk every night on FaceTime and he’d text me throughout the day and told me he wanted to possibly date.
I came down to meet him in his city. Everything was fine we stayed together in my hotel but I noticed he kept his phone in his pocket the entire time. Like even during sleeping, in his pocket. I got a glance at it and it was on DND but I ended up asking him why he did this and he admitted it’s because a girl from his past he has no interest in hits him up sometimes and he didn’t want me to see it.
Should I end it or am I overthinking it? I just feel like if that was the case he would have just blocked her and while I know he doesn’t have a secret girlfriend because we just spend so much time together and he rarely was on his phone in the 3 days we were together, I feel like he’s hiding something despite telling me we were on the road to a relationship.

Girl, that phone behavior is kind of a red flag. A few things seem weird:

- Keeping it glued to his pocket even while sleeping? That's really odd and shady.

- Admitting some girl from his past hits him up but he doesn't block her? Sketchy, like why keep that line of communication open.

- Saying he didn't want you to see some messages but refused to show you his phone at all. Sneaky and suspicious.

I get wanting privacy, but this early on and with the way he's acting defensive/evasive, I'd be questioning what else he doesn't want you to find out. You deserve someone who makes you feel secure, not constantly wondering what he's hiding.

I'd chill on moving forward with him 'til he earns your trust back by being totally open. And maybe think about if this is how you wanna be feeling going long distance. Protect your peace sis! This phone crap would bug me too much.

Yeah I would also overthinking, if there is something he hides. He would just show u what is that.
I’m not a woman who will check my man’s phone, even though i know all his passwords. I’ll never do it, but i keep eyes on him 😂
