Guy at work acting weird?

My coworker (a guy) randomly walked past me today and was eating candy. He asked did i want some of his candy. I said no and he kept egging me to take a piece of his candy bar. Today he started walking beside me and started talking about tools. I was walking to the break room and he comes up beside me and says “screw drivers don’t work for certain motors so we have to use a wrench”

And i said “huh what are you talking about?”

Sounds to me like he's just trying to be friendly, but he doesn't quite know what to talk about with you, so he reverts back to what he knows, just to be on the safe side.

Whatever you do don't be mean and ignore him, he's likely friendly and just wants someone to talk to, you would probably make his day.
