Is there any explanation for why a guy at work could act like this?

I have a small crush on a guy from work. Yesterday he and I and another girl were talking about a show and got on the topic about a male celebrity. I said I didn’t find him attractive and the other girl said she did and I was like “he’s too rugged” and my crush laughed and was like “so you like more suave and smooth” and I was like “just not him” and he was like “do you like Bradley Cooper ( he’s from the same place my crush is from ) and I was like “yeah I like him”.
He then mentioned one of the movies Bradley cooper was in and about how it being filmed in his hometown and in the movie Bradley cooper is a huge sports fan of this team and it turns out my crush likes the same team in real life lol because he always reps them.
Today, I heard him talking about celebrities with another celebrity and he said his favorite celebrity was Bradley cooper. Then he started humming a song from the movie we were talking about yesterday which plays multiple times in the movie. He could’ve watched it after our conversation yesterday.
Also yesterday I was ranting about how one of our company contacts doesn’t answer me and he was saying how the person is known to be rude and he was like “theres an account run by regular people like you that tweet mean things” and then he was like “not saying you’re regular” why is he so awkward? And what did he mean?
