Why would someone play with your sensitivity and hurt you freely?

Meaning a guy making you think you were the one and said he had no girlfriend, wasn't the right timing but made a hint on the future. Though, after you see he is on holiday with his new girlfriend. Why would someone do something like this? What did I do bad to him? I always minded my own business and didn't ask for this.

So basically: he made me think something and in the end turns out it was all fake. We live in different countries and now I can start my life over again. Nevertheless, he left a bad mark on my existence.

Living in different countries was a red flag all on its own. Yes I know there are LDR success stories but those are far and few between compared to how doomed that situation usually is. You can’t see what he’s up to or check in on him, for all you know she could’ve been in the picture all along and when he said he wasn’t ready it was really him picking her. Be careful with these men online, too often these situations are dead ended fantasies.

Exactly! he was at my university and I really liked him and maybe plan for the future and then after my graduation I see he has always had a girlfriend in his country.. what a shame

I mean I have just graduated and he will graduate soonish so I was so stupid to think about future.. this is really embarassing. Sometimes I think life is like Cinderella but it's not.

I’m sorry. I’ve been in a similar situation and it really sucks but the best thing you can do is learn from it while you’re healing. Maybe there are things you could’ve done differently, or even things you’ll know to watch out for when the next guy comes along.
