Is it rude of me to call my boyfriend out when he is being stupid?

I usually tell him he’s being stupid , that’s a stupid thing to say or do. And I seem to have to do it a lot because he has stupid opinions quite a lot. He claims it’s rude and mean to imply he’s stupid and that he doesn’t treat me that way. Well I don’t say stupid things so he doesn’t have to. Am I being too harsh or blunt?

Who is making the decisions on the Stupidity? This is the problem , if he is that stupid , then why would you possibly be with him? If any woman were to call me stupid , and constantly repeat , I'd set the bitch free because who is to say what is stupid or otherwise , so you should NOT be together if that's your considered view.

I make the decisions on what’s stupid because I have common sense and I know what’s stupid or not I’m intelligent. I still love him that’s why but his stupid comments piss me off.

Well if you say it in-front of other people yes its rude i would advise after what he did for whatever reason he did it when your alone try to understand why he did this or said this before calling him stupid try to understand his way of thinking and jt its wrong just tell him i think you could’ve said that ir do that instead of what you said or do thats better

Yes so rude…
I will never call anyone stupid, especially people who close to me. Boyfriend, kids or even my employees.
