Why would a man do this?

So there is a guy that I follow on social media. I comment from time to time on their post and they reply and comment back, no big deal right. I was always respectful when I post as well. We would talk in the private message but nothing flirtatious at all just about anything from work to whatever. Well recently I notice that he’s deleted my comments from his social media post, but he only is deleting mine and nobody else’s. Anyone else that has commented whether they were male or female he doesn’t delete their comment. Even if I post a response under his page, he will now try to hide the comments or turn them off if he see that I responded but the strange thing is that he still will talk to me through private messages. I have never made any kind of flirtatious advances at this person ever. Why is he doing this?

The most likely reason is that there is someone on that social media that has possibly made a comment about you and that he does not want to aggravate that person by leaving traces of your activity or answers to him.

It could be a girlfriend that reads your comments or a girl/guy that is interested in him and he does not want them to see that you comment on his posts. Whatever the reason is, you should ask him what his reason is to delete only your comments. Your other option is obviously to stop making any comments on his social media and you solve that problem by simply refraining to comment.

I’ve done it before and it was because I didn’t like/was embarrassed by the woman and didn’t want people to get the wrong impression. I was being polite in private. I thought she liked me and I confirmation later that she did.
