Guy's Behavior

Long hug between a guy and I. Men, does this sound only friendly, or more than that?

So my manager ( he's 2 years older) and I seem to be getting really close. We've only worked 3 (1 shift each week) shifts together, but we've been getting along so well. Our mentalities are completely the same.

The second shift is when things started to get more progressive. We made a secret handshake together. We sat super close. At one point, he laughed, and his head was touching my lap. He said i was his favourite. He promised to take me to different cities. We said we had each other's backs. At the end of thay shift, he side hugged me. He was sitting at the time, and I was standing. So his head leaned in more towards my hip area.

Then thos shift. In the morning, he side hugged me and walked with me to the store. We did the handshake while sitting, and we continued to hold hands for about 20 seconds.

At one point, he pulled my cheeks and called me cute. We were sitting really close again. At one point, he randomly left and came back in with lunch for me (not even for himself), even though I didn't ask.

He was a little overprotective once he saw I wasn't okay with an older man (a customer) hitting on me by messaging my manager asking for my number. He said I don't need to serve him. And can tell everyone he said so and under his rule.

Then, when leaving, he hugged me. We close hugged for quite some time. I would say about 10 seconds. Both arms around each other. Then we spoke for a bit. Then, close hugged again for about 5 seconds. After that hug, he still had one arm around me, head close. And said I could go to him about anything. I could call him anytime. So I joked and asked even if there were bugs. And he said, especially if there are bugs. He told me to get home safely during this hug. Then the night ended when i left.

Does this sound like more than friendship? Or am I overthinking it?
