I saw my boyfriend of 4 years on Monday. I left his house 10pm. We had great sex, had dinner watched a movie while he slept in my lap. I texted him Tues 7am thank you for dinner, because I forgot and I always say thank you. He responded ur welcome.

Then I didn't get 1 single text or call from him until today Wed at 330pm. It said sorry just busy. 7pm today. Meaning we will have dinner at 7.

This is pretty typical behavior from him if I don't initiate. I was feeling rejected discarded and like a pos it took almost 48 hrs to text me. My friend said she'd never tolerate that especially if she just had amazing sex 2 days ago.

I don't know it's 1.5 days. Am I being annoying wanting a hello, thinking of you, anything?

He is not an affectionate man. I'm lucky if I get a thinking of you once in a blue. If I get an I miss you it's because I texted it first

I think your story shows the accuracy of the saying "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus".

As a guy, I'm "hardwired" to associate sex to intimacy. And I know that girls can feel (express) intimacy without sex.

Not speculating because I don't know your boyfriend, I just say as a guy, after a satisfying sex, he likely lose all desire for intimacy.

This is perhaps is why he behaves in your story, probably no bad intentio. He's "just another guy".

Yes because all the affection is one sided unless we are alone in bed watching TV or sex.
I can see how some wives don't want sex from their husband if he's unaffectionate 90% of the other times
