Was this sexual assault?

Today I went walking in a park on a path not too far from where I live. While I was walking a guy approached me and I took my head phones out to see what he wanted. Right away he started complimenting me and telling me he thought I was pretty and asked if he could walk with me I thought it was flattering and harmless so I said okay. We walked side by side and just chatted normally. But as the walking progressed so did the levels of his physical contact. He then grabbed me close a few times and felt my hips and grabbed and felt up my ass for a ways. I didn't really say anything but I was uncomfortable. (I'm isolated and touch deprived so to make this thing sicker I guess in a way I didn't mind it) but it was getting out of hand. He went on to hold my hand and kiss it a few times and tell me how soft I was and asked to kiss me but I said no but he was just feeling me up non stop. Even grabbed my ass in public in broad daylight. He asked to kiss me and I said no. He respected that but then brought up that maybe he could kiss me later and I said no to that too. He walked me home (also dumb of me I know but I had no intention of letting him in or letting him know what suite I was in) and we stood outside and he was full well ready to come In but I said no. I was scared he would try to have sex with me or worse. The touching was too much but sex just seemed insane and absolutely not happening. He kept begging and insisting I let him in but I said absolutely not. Anyway luckily a renters Mom was there and she's older and tough and as soon as he saw her he straightened out and *finally* took his hands off me and stopped pushing me to let him come inside. A few minutes later.

Really bizzare. It's my fault a lot of it but was I sexually assaulted kinda by a stranger today?
