I was sexually assaulted in the waiting line in a grocery shop by an Ukrainian refugee, he grinded on me, at first I thought I was imagining things or that maybe it's normal in his country to stay very close in waiting line but when I felt his breathing growing very heavy on my neck / ear and felt him lean on me more and more I had no doubt anymore but did not fight back, I just moved of line.

Does it count as sexual assault since I did not say anything? Should I even bother to do anything? I do not want to be a mean person as I know Ukraine is at war and ptds and stuff and crazy but it did really made me uncomfortable too I was alone and he was with 3 others Ukrainian men (I'm guessing they were all friends or they were together during army service, my country train Ukrainian soldier and there's a military base near where I live). So if I say anything I have no one on my side and he have three people, also I feel bad for them I don't want them to be hurt or anything but what the guy did is not good.

Nasty. I have worked with my local police a fair bit over community safety and it does help them if reports are made. It is not as if your particular case would result in charges or even that you would want to press charges (maybe you find it embarrassing). It does help in accumulation.

There could have been cctv in the grocery store or the sales person might see them frequently.

I like to say we have to help the police help us. In the case I related I rang the police because the girls at the tram stop might have been appalled ( some would have seen the vigorous stroking) but probably wouldn't call.

In my community safety work it has become clear that not enough will go to the trouble of reporting. That has the consequence the guys like the one you mention get away with it.

It is a sure thing that police can't do anything if crime is unreported Alice55. People push boundaries all the time. If it is a 60 speed limit I might think I can get away with 65 but not 70 so I drive at 65.

Finally our police have been reconstructed somewhat and we can make online reports after which the assigned officer contacts you. They also have good kit now with face recognition. I didn't work on that but my company did. On it's first night trial three arrests were made, one of which was a sex offence. Good quality cctv is important now but crims keep their heads down.

The Greens party oppose cctv because it victimizes the vulnerable in their parlance. The 'vulnerables' are of course criminals who assault, steal and commit sexual offences. Well I m not a language expert so it’s possible it was Russian and not Ukrainian I just assumed it was Ukrainian because therés quite a bit of Ukrainian refugee where I live.

I think both languages are similar anyway and Russians have done a lot more travelling and settling around the world though you could be right about it.
The stories about Russians taking children away from their homes in Ukraine I think are even more outrageous and horrid. They should go back to their own country (including the North Koreans) and pay reparations to the Ukrainian nation for harm done to their country.

On Easter we have spécial chocolate in form of rabbit or eggs while on Christmas we have chocolate with alcool into it or orangette or chocolate called « after eight » it’s chocolate with mint filling
