I don't want to be clingy by initiating the first message but I don't know what to do.

I wouldn't contact him no matter how badly you need questions answered right now. Believe me, you won't die if you never hear from him again.
He sounds like a player to me and thinks because he's good looking he can get any chick he wants, so he's really playing the field as much as he can.
He just wanted to see if you would do what all of the other girls have done before you. It's an ego trip for him to see how many chick's he can get, but doesn't want to keep any of them.

A guy who TRULY is interested in you will try to contact you no matter how busy they are. If they are busy, they'll let you know but might text you here and there. The point is, they'll show up when they can. If you don't hear from him in 2 weeks (and I'm giving a lot of leeway) he is either not interested to make time for you OR he doesn't take you seriously. He might be attracted but not enough for him to put you in a place of importance.
