Do guys look at women unconsciously, like a reflex or would a guy who keeps turning to look at you do it on purpose cuz he wants you to see him stare?

He had his body positioned facing my direction while we were both working then when I stepped away I noticed he turned his body to the other side so he was facing me again. So I went back to where I was standing before to grab something and he turned his body again back to the way it was before. So then I walked back over to the other side and he turned his body to face me once again. This all happened in the span of like 20 seconds and we weren’t having a conversation at the time this was happening. I didn’t look at him directly because I didn’t want him to know I was paying attention but I caught this all out of the corner of my eye. What I’m wondering is did he do this unconsciously because he wanted to look at me.. like he doesn’t even realize he’s doing this or is it possible he wanted me to notice?

The movement was just so quick and obvious I almost laughed out loud a little the last time he turned again because I couldn’t believe he was doing it so obviously. I found the whole thing adorable regardless I’m just curious what you guys think?

Kind of like a reflex, I guess. lol You look first and then a second or so later realize "oh yeah, I'm staring." But over 20 seconds, though? That's just intentional.

I say all genders have a tendency to just look around and or gaze - sometimes not always for attraction - they may just be looking in relatedly
