How and should I confess?

Hihi! I'm back. My friend, fellow sports teammate on our coed team, And close friend.. well I've got a huge crush on him. And then my friend took my phone and asked him if he liked anyone, but im not sure if I confess like tell him the truth now cause he like it seems sad and awkward I said, "oh just curious hah" and he just said "okay 👍", and I'm just terrified (as an overthinker)

Stay confident but also give him an easy out like "No pressure though!" If he seems unsure, you can follow up with "I totally get it if you just see me as a friend. But I didn't want to regret not saying anything!"
