Why would someone claim he loves me if he actually doesn’t?

I was dating a guy for about 3 months and realized that he didn’t have real romantic feelings for me. Now two months later he keeps texting me even though I recently entered a relationship with my boyfriend and wants to meet me. Why does he keep contacting me if he is not in love with me? I never gave him sex nor did I serve him in any other way.

How do you know that he doesn't "love" you. That is a strong word to throw around but even more so only after such a short period. Most likely he wanted sex. You say that you didn't give that to him but that doesn't mean he isn't going to try or keep trying to see if he can get what he wants. He will use what he thinks that you want to hear to get what he wants. That is why people lie. Again are you sure he doesn't? I am guessing you have your reasons for believing that he doesn't love you even tho he said it. I am not doubting you but more curious how you arrived at that conclusion. There isn't any context to that part. One more thing to mention is a lot of people don't realize what they lost until it is gone and that could be another reason he is contacting you now.
