Why did my ex do this?

Me and my ex “situationship” of 6 years ended things originally back in November 2023 but since then there were incidents where he would contact me. Fast forward to now, we have eachother added on Facebook but we don’t talk. He posted on his FB story that he created a new instagram and he posted the username for everyone to follow. I did not bother looking at it. Later that day he requested me, (i saw the notification pop up) and i just ignored it. I did not decline it, just didn’t even look at the request. I was busy studying all day for my license exam, so I didn’t care to open the app.
At night, I went to go check finally and his request was gone and so was his account. I thought he blocked me but i had some friends search it up and its gone. How odd?

My advice! He was tasting the waters. And please, don’t try to understand him. He will waste your time and ruin your years.

It sounds like he made it just for you, and when you did not respond, he removed it.
