Guys, why would a guy hangout with a girl at a party if there are girls there that are way hotter then her?

So let’s say you’re hanging out at a party and this guy hangs out with you as the party is winding down in an area where there’s not as big of a crowd (like if everyone was outside and you two and like one or two other people were in the living room/kitchen). If there are girls way hotter then you in at the party, why would the guy hangout with you?

because he likes her for who she is.
She probably has a great personality and many things in common vs she looks nice and is a complete airhead, or they have absolutely nothing in common.
I have found that I actually need to like and enjoy the person that I am with.
