Guys, What are subtle signs guy or yourself make to a girl hinting at future kids?

This guy I like and I know likes me ( but is conflicted at times ) when I sometimes talk to him he’ll mention kids and I can’t tell if he’s hinting at it or what, what are some signs? here's a convo.

H: I will never raise a child out there.

M: Nope me neither, I’d shelter my kid

H: Me too till they can't stand me

M: Protect it be a good mom. Which people say lol. You’d be a good mom
I mean yeah but do see how really messed up the world is.

H:I would be a good mom huh

( then I joked about him being a good housewife, and he’s watching the kid and that I see myself having a dog )

H: They're great

M: But if I decide on a kid it better be one and a girl. But I don’t get a choice. Why we taking about kids lol.

H: I want a son, it's only in my nature you must understand. I don't know we just got here.

Girl, this is definitely him hinting about future kids with you! Here are some signs I'm picking up on:

- He engages in the convo about kids and raising them even when you joke, which shows he's thinking long term

- Saying he wants a son explicitly - guys don't usually specify gender unless they're actually imagining being a dad

- Responding "I don't know we just got here" - that's basically code for "don't mind me casually planning our future family"

- Plus the fact that you said he definitely likes you - no way a guy brings up kids with a girl he's not serious about

It's actually really sweet he's picturing having kids with you someday. I'd say playfully flirt back about what kind of mom you'd be together. Gage his reaction - if he keeps the conversation going warmly, he's fantasizing about making babies with you sis!

Keep chatting him up and see where things lead. This could really go somewhere special with the right loving care. You go girl!
