Why did a guy at work ask for my number but he never uses it?

He’s a predator. But why did he only text me one night after work and it was like ‘why were you shocked I asked for your number’. That’s really all he had to text me. Wtf?

Maybe he just doesn't want you to think he's abusing it.
My best friend is VERY private and it took me at least a year to get her to give me her number so, I don't think I've called her more than 3 or 4 times since then (20 years ago). I would rather she trust me than think I'm some kind of sex fiend trying to get into her panties! She's already gone through that twice!!

'he's a predator' That's a pretty serious accusation you are just tossing around. So why is he a predator? If he is a predator, why would you give him your number?
He didn't ask for your number just to ask you that. Did you answer his text?

You should NEVER give your number to anyone. There are many ways to contact someone these days.
