Why did my guy pal at work say “why you have an attitude with me?”?

He said my name and I turned and said hey. And as he was walking to me he said why do you have an attitude with me. I didn’t realize I did so I was like “what?” And apparently he saw that I wasn’t “having an attitude”…

Some people are less conversational and social than others. Unless you are normally gregarious with other colleagues and not at all with him, it's something in his imagination. It could easily be that he is hitting on you in a way that doesn't allow for any explicit conversations due to company policies about harassment or his own personal insecurities. Or it could be a much simpler explanation like the one offered by Ms. Abbycado
