Why do some men try to make women jealous?

I recently had a man try that on me and I wasn’t jealous. I just didn’t like knowing that someone was trying to manipulate me.

Some men think that making a woman jealous is a way to get more, and better, sex. I'm pretty sure that rarely works.

After someone told him I’d hooked up with someone, he said he fancies my friend. Then admitted to saying it to make me jealous, because he thinks I’m manipulative and planned for him to find out about it. Whereas in reality, he’d rejected me plenty of times years before and I decided to get involved with someone else because I just felt like it. It actually had nothing to do with him at all.

Perhaps because females do it to men. And men are hardly manipulative, unlike females.

I respectfully disagree. Some men and some women are manipulative. Other men and other women are honest and direct.

It gives them a charge knowing they can manipulate men. Why is a little harder to pinpoint. Because some do it out of insecurity. Some do it out of toxicity (they simply were never taught that this is no way treat other people). But whatever the reason they do it. All of them consider it just part of male-female interaction and consider it fair game. These women create villains for all other women to deal with. Then ironically those women complain later about these men not realizing or not accepting that their gender created them.

I respectfully disagree that women are the cause of men’s bad/immature behaviour. It’s easier to blame others than to take responsibility for themselves.

That's probably because you misinterpret me.
I never said these women were to BLAME I said these women created them. Regardless of what someone does to you you always have a CHOICE how you react to it.
For example I've had a lot of women try to exploit me. I could CHOOSE to become the villain I described. I do not. But that doesn't mean I trust women like I used to. I always have my guard up. See the distiction?
Women ARE NOT victims. And neither are men. But that doesn't mean people don't have negative experiences that do not affect them.

True. I’ve been abused by a percentage of men and I’ve chosen for it to make me stronger, kinder and wiser, rather than making Myself into a bitter person.
